A New Trend With Public Accessible Restrooms

Want to stay current with the new trends for public accessible restrooms in a commercial building that will allow you, the owner, the opportunity to save on overhead expenses?

Let’s face it – all business owners are not only looking to cut expenses, but they are looking for the easiest, most effective strategy possible to build out and design a property.

Watch this video to learn how you can create a glamorous and efficient design for your public accessible bathrooms.

Public Accessible Restrooms Design Tips

As you can see in the video, I was on site at a client’s restaurant, which we are currently renovating.

In the video I pointed out how to effectively use the existing space to take advantage of a new design trend – having separate toilet areas and a common sink area – which will save money on plumbing  and lighting costs.

This bathroom is downstairs in the restaurant. The problem is there is only one toilet in the existing restroom.  Not very effective when you have multiple people needing to use the restroom at the same time. Also, there is no sink for people to wash their hands. You absolutely need to have hand-washing sinks that both your customers and your employees can use (ALL employees MUST wash their hands before returning to work in the kitchen or serving customers!)

The good news is that there is enough space to build out 4 separate restroom stalls for both men and women to use.

In today’s video you heard me talk about the NEW trends that can help businesses save money up front on all plumbing expenses.

One of these trends is building out a bank of hand washing sinks in one location that both males and females can use.

A good practice and best tip from CTG Real Estate Services is to build out space in a restroom utilizing the space efficiently which will save on both plumbing and lighting fixture costs by creating an area for both men and women to use.

Now I’d like to hear from you.
