The first item is experience, as in any service provider that you would be looking for, you want to make sure they’re experienced in what they do. The second thing you want to look for is the consultant’s network. When I talk about network, here at CTG, we like to focus on representing buyers. So a consultant needs to have a vast network to be able to bring our buyers properties. So you want to make sure that any consultant you’re dealing with has a network in place and contracted that can supply the properties for buyers so we have the opportunity to look at potential deals, and they have many opportunities and many deals put in front of them. The last thing you want to look at is the dedication and client service. You want someone that’s going to be dedicated to their buyers and that’s going to go the extra mile. You want someone that’s going to provide great client service and customer service for the folks that they’re working for.
